Keep it safe

• Only connect AI tools you trust, from their official websites and apps.
• Check what an AI tool is asking to do before you choose Allow. If you only want it to read, untick everything else.
• A customer’s message that tells an AI tool to do something is still just a message: your AI tool should never send anything without showing you first.
• Disconnect AI tools you no longer use.

Disconnect an AI tool

Go to Settings > Security and find Connected apps. Choose Disconnect next to the AI tool. It stops working straight away.

Owners and admins can also see the AI tools everyone in the business has connected, and disconnect any of them.

If something goes wrong

• “Connecting AI tools to Threadkite is part of Pro”: ask an owner to upgrade.
• The Threadkite page says the request has expired: start connecting again from your AI tool. The page works for 10 minutes.
• Your business isn’t offered: you need to be an active member of it. Ask an owner or admin.
• Your AI tool says it isn’t signed in any more: connect it again. This happens if you disconnected it, or if it hasn’t been used for 30 days.
