What your AI tool can do
What you allow on the Threadkite page when you connect decides what your AI tool can do.
Search your threads and contacts and read them with their notes and summaries; see your Today list, tasks and appointments; search your catalogue; see report figures you can see.
Act for you
Section titled “Act for you”Add notes, create tasks and book appointments. Save a reply as a draft: it waits in your message box in Threadkite for you to check and send. Send a message to a customer: it first prepares a preview, and AI tools are told to show it to you and only send it once you say so.
On some ChatGPT plans, custom connectors can only read for now. See Connect ChatGPT.
What it can never do
Section titled “What it can never do”- See threads in inboxes you’re not in, or anything you can’t see yourself.
- Change your business’s settings, your team or your plan.
- Send a message that wasn’t prepared as a preview first. Each preview sends once, within 10 minutes, and only for the person who prepared it.
With a Basic seat, your AI tool can read and add notes, as you can. Every action it takes is in your business’s audit log.
The tools
Section titled “The tools”AI tools see these tools. You don’t need to name them: ask in your own words and the AI tool picks the right one.

The read tools need Read or Act for you (which includes reading); the others need Act for you. Tools your seat can’t use aren’t offered.
