Errors

Errors have the same shape everywhere:

code is stable for your code to check; message is plain English to show or log.

Status	Code	Meaning
400	invalid and others	The request is not valid; message says why
401	invalid_api_key	Missing, mistyped or revoked key
402	upgrade_required	The organisation is on the Free plan, which does not include the API
403	insufficient_scope, api_key_not_allowed, and others an operation lists	The key cannot do this
404	not_found	No such record in your organisation
409	various	A conflict, such as an idempotency key still in use
422	idempotency_key_reused	The idempotency key was used for a different request
429	rate_limited	Too many requests
