Finding your way around

The menu on the left of the web app takes you everywhere. What you see in it depends on your role and seat, so some items may be missing for you.

  • Home: your set-up steps (owners and admins), your tasks due today and overdue, today’s appointments and a summary of the last 7 days.
  • Inbox: every thread with your customers, sorted into folders. A badge shows how many open threads are unread. See How threads work.
  • Tasks: follow-ups and to-dos, with a badge for those due today or overdue. See Tasks, follow-ups and appointments.
  • Diary: appointments by day and week. Each one opens its thread.
  • Activity: calls, messages, notes and more from your team and your customers, newest first.
  • Contacts and Companies: everyone who has been in touch and the businesses they work for. See Contacts.
  • Products: your catalogue, if you can see it.
  • Bulk messages: one message to a group of contacts, for managers and above. See Bulk messages.
  • Reports: leads, response times, outcomes and more. See Reports.

Below these are:

  • Connections: every way customers reach you, from lead sources and contact forms to WhatsApp and connected mailboxes. See Lead sources.
  • Settings: your business, your inboxes, automations and your own preferences.
  • Help & support: raise a ticket with our support team. See Help and support tickets.

The New button at the top of every page starts something new:

  • New message: write to someone, new or existing, on any channel you have.
  • Call a number: when built-in calling is on.
  • Log a visit, Log a call and Log a message: record something that happened outside Threadkite. See Logging visits, calls and messages.

Use the search at the top of the page to find contacts, threads and items in your catalogue.

The name at the top of the menu shows your business. Click it to switch to another business you belong to, add another account, or sign out. You can be signed in to up to five accounts in one browser.
