Saved replies

A saved reply is a message you can drop into the reply box in one click, such as “Still available” or directions to your site. They work on every channel.

  1. In the reply box, click Saved replies.
  2. Search or pick the reply you want.
  3. If it has parts in square brackets, such as [time], fill them in. Threadkite won’t send until you do.
  4. Check it reads right, then send.

Anyone on a Full seat can add saved replies for themselves. Managers and above can share them with the team.

  1. Go to Settings > Saved replies and click Add saved reply.
  2. Give it a Name, so it’s easy to find.
  3. Write the Reply. A preview shows how it will look.
  4. Add an Email subject if you like. It’s used when the reply starts a new email.
  5. Under Who can use it, choose:
    • Just me: a personal reply only you see in the reply box.
    • Everyone, in every inbox, or one inbox, to share it with the team.
  6. If you trade from more than one location, choose where to Offer it at.
  7. Save.

To change or remove a saved reply, use Change or Delete next to it.

Saved replies can include fields that Threadkite fills in as the message is sent, such as {{contact.firstName}} for the customer’s first name or {{organisation.name}} for your business’s name. The editor offers the fields you can use.

Some saved replies are sent by an automation, such as your out-of-hours reply. They’re marked Sent out of hours. To delete one, first turn off the automation or choose another reply for it. See Automations.
